Based on how you’ve met me, you might find it a little um, interesting, that while I write and speak as a calling, I still, at times, find myself searching for the right words in moments like these. How do I even grasp what it means to give life to an idea that came from such a divine place? How is it that God would use my story and my presence in the world to convey something that only Heaven could download? My life and the work you witness is the truest indicator of generous grace and it is the fuel behind what I feel so deeply right now…it is POWER.
My journey towards founding Woman Evolve wasn’t a straight path by any means. In fact, it was filled with twists, turns, and unexpected detours that ultimately led me here. Just seven years ago, I decided to move past fear and the mistakes that I felt defined by, and made the choice to evolve. That’s when things changed.
So I moved into the space I felt called to create, based on what I needed at the time. Woman Evolve was born out of a deep-seated desire to create a space where women could bring all facets of themselves—spirituality, fashion, fun, mental health, and wellness—under one roof. There was truly no such space before we launched. I recognized a profound need for women to connect in a holistic way and assess where they fit in a rapidly evolving world, where traditional norms and expectations no longer hold the same weight.
It was just a year ago that I told you all how deeply resonant the message of hope was for me. And, as God does in his endless pursuit of our hearts and our story, He wouldn’t let it stop there. It became a fiery conviction that I share the journey of finding hope to stepping into the power that can and will transform how we own our place in the earth.
So this month, it is my joy and the truest display of heart to share my latest book with you. It’s called Power Moves: Ignite Your Confidence and Become a Force. It’s the message I feel most deeply right now. In this book I explore the fluid nature of power and the importance of releasing fears, doubts, and worries to harness one’s true potential. Power, I believe, is not stagnant—it flows, evolves, and adapts to the various seasons of our lives. Whether we’re experiencing heartbreak, grief, or transition, power awaits us at every step, ready to be harnessed in pursuit of our purpose.
There are so many ways to feel as I continue understanding the depth of what God wants you to truly understand and own as truth, but I’ll start here:
What you need to get to the place you KNOW you’re called to? It’s already there.
You’re not missing anything or lacking the tools - you just have to own that they’re already yours.
When you show up - in all your forms and in every season - it’s all evidence of power. YOUR power.
We’ll spend 194 pages together this month, so I’ll save the really juicy stuff for when we meet over there. But know this: the words you’ll encounter are full of purposeful challenges, soul-reminders, and a charge for us all to step into the power that has been there all along, waiting for us to reclaim.
